Valentines Day as a Single Pringle.

Hello my dears,

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

I hope you're all having a lovely day, whether you're taken or not. For me, the last 3 Valentines days were spent with my ex-boyfriend and now, as you can imagine, this day feels rather strange to me. So this post is more aimed to single readers. You with other halfs, you can just have a lovely day with them. I am truly jealous and hope whatever you do together is filled with fun and laughter.

Anyway, I thought I'd write this for people who are in the same boat or perhaps fear feeling a little lonely today. All in all, after me and my boyfriend split up a month or so ago, I have been ok. While in the first week or so, being alone was something that felt terrible to me, with the help and love of others around me, I no longer feel that way anymore. That is essentially my advice for you today. Valentines Day is about love, but just because it stereo-typically means a partner, doesn't mean that you can't appreciate others that you love around you, like a good friend or family member.

So, this Valentines Day, why don't you and a few single friends, go out for tea, perhaps go see a film or have a night in with nibbles sharing a bit of gossip? You don't have to be alone today, because you're not alone. You're surrounded by people who love and care for you, so spend a little time with them today.

I am going out for tea tonight with a friend of mine. It's nothing to extravagant, we're just popping to the local pub for some grub which I'm sure will be lovely.

Whatever you guys do today, I hope you have a lovely time.

Love to you all
xxxx
